Domperidone

Description

Domperidone is a medication primarily used to treat nausea, vomiting, and gastrointestinal disorders related to delayed gastric emptying. It belongs to the class of dopamine antagonists and works by blocking dopamine receptors in the gastrointestinal tract and the brain. By doing so, Domperidone enhances motility in the stomach and intestines, leading to quicker gastric emptying and reducing symptoms like bloating, nausea, and vomiting.
