Description

Clav-Pot Syloid is a combination antibiotic containing Amoxicillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic, and Clavulanate Potassium, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This combination is designed to extend the spectrum of amoxicillin’s antibacterial activity, particularly against beta-lactamase-producing bacteria, which can inactivate many beta-lactam antibiotics like amoxicillin. Clavulanate inhibits these enzymes, allowing amoxicillin to work effectively against a wider range of pathogens, including resistant strains.
